External Windows 10 loader trouble

Post by Changlal »

Hi, I'm having a trouble with Windows 10 EFI loader when using DiskCryptor Build v1.2 Beta 3

I wanna create external win10 loader - I just cut EFI folder from system partition 1 (100mb size - screenshot link below) and paste it on a usb device formatted in FAT32 file system.

And it works. You can also remove partition 1 and partition 2 after, to have only one partition with system files.
OS loading proccesed from USB drive - choose the drive in UEFI boot menu.

Trouble begins when i try to encrypt the system partition.
I have installed DiskCryptor loader over win10 bootloader (which is on the USB drive).
When I'm trying to load I have this error:

Could you help me, please. Any suggestions how to solve this?

looks liek you are missing the windows bootloader shomehow, normaly DC would rename the old windows loader so it expects it under a new name
