Hello
Following the tutorial I need to encrypt the boot partition (or remove it). I have 3 partitions:
- 100MB boot (with /boot and /efi folders)
- main windows partition (already encrypted)
- 500MB recovery partition (I think I don't need to encrypt it).
When I try to encrypt the boot partition it says "The EFI boot partition cannot be encrypted because the UEFI needs to read it".
So, do I really need to encrypt it (or delete)? Is it safe to leave it unencrypted?
Do I need to encrypt the boot partition?
Re: Do I need to encrypt the boot partition?
I believe only the NTFS partition needs encryption because your data will be saved there?
Hopefully the author can confirm?
