Unable to web browse

Post by aman0 »

Hello,

This is my first time trying Sandboxie.
When I try to run a web browser (default Firefox, google chrome, IE, or Microsoft Edge), the following error message is displayed.

SBIE2101 Object name not found: Unnamed object, error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1
SBIE2101 Object name not found: Unnamed object, error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thanks

Sandboxie Classic and Web browsing

Post by aman0 »

Hi,

I'm currently using Sandboxie Classic v5.55.15 on Windows 10 Home 10.0.19044 x64 bit Build 19044.

When I try to run any kind of browser inside Sandboxie Classic, the following error message would appear:
SBIE2101 Object name not found: Unnamed object, error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1
SBIE2101 Object name not found: Unnamed object, error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1

I do have AVG Antivirus and Zone Alarm, but I did try turning them off and it did not fix the issue. This issue also occurs in Sandboxie Plus and with default settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

This should be fixed with newer versions. If you still can't run browsers, please report back.
