I am using Sandboxie (Clasic) Version 5.55.11 (64-bit) under Windows 10 at the latest service level. I am running Firefox 97.0 (64-bit) under Sandboxie.
I have the Bitwarden, Pay by Privacy.com, and Startpage addons. I am getting the following messages and then the Sandboxie folder associated with
Firefox disappears. Firefox continues to run outside of Sandboxie
SBIE2191 firefox.exe should not be updated while running under Sandboxie.
SBIE2192 To update the program, run it outside of the supervision of Sandboxie.
SBIE2193 Make sure to delete the sandbox after completing the update process.

Re: Sandbox Disapears when Running Firefox
Does this issue still occur with newer versions?
Unless the sandbox is configured to be autodeleted, when the last process is terminated, the files and folders should stay present.
Those messages are to be expected when Firefox is getting updated, which should not be done while being sandboxed, so they just tell you to update the browser outside Sandboxie's control and run it again under Sandboxie's control. It advises you to clear the sandbox data, since the download of the update is still included in the sandbox and could trigger messages again.
