Firefox issues inside Sandboxie

Post by calisun »

All the below mentioned issues with Firefox only happen when running inside Sandboxie. Firefox outside of Sandboxie has no issues.

Everything worked fine until latest Firefox update to 94.0.1
Issues discovered so far:
- Right-clicking on link on any page and choosing "Open in new tab" Does nothing, nothing opens up.
- Right-clicking on highlighted text, no longer gives option to copy text
- when opening new window, default Firefox Search box opens, but typing inside that box is not working.

Sandboxie version used: 5.33.3 (64 bit)

After having above issues, I started to experiment with other versions of SandBoxie, so I no longer have version 5.33.3 installed.

UPDATE:

I have found my old install file for SandBoxie 5.33.3, so I have uninstalled latest version of SandBoxie and re-installed 5.33.3
Everything is working fine now and even the issues, mentioned at the start of this thread, are no longer issues.
So I will just stick with the old tried and true 5.33.3

Last working version seems to be 5.33.3

Error message - side by side configuration incorrect error code 14001

Any fix planned?

If you could test your way through the newer releases i could pinpoint the issue and fix it, best strategy is start int he middle, the go up or down again the middle, so you can reach the faulty version very quickly with not to much testing.
