When a new release comes out, the option "Extract all files to a directory for portable use" is unclear.
Does it mean a fresh folder or also an existing folder that has an older release of the portable version?
Hopefully it means "you can use an existing folder, older files will be replaced", but I'd like to make sure.
If not, then it should refuse to extract if the folder already has files.
Can the portable version overwrite itself?

Re: Can the portable version overwrite itself?
The installer allows you to extract the files to a folder you chose. This can be a different folder. If you choose to extract the files to an existing version of portable Sandboxie-Plus, the installer will prompt if you want to use that folder. After approving to use that folder, files will be overwritten. Otherwise, you can choose a different folder.
Of course, only files that are not used can be replaced.
