I have created the following issue on the bug tracker.
There seems to be an incompatibility with a recent version of Windows, as it worked before and seems to work with Windows 10.
Thank you thank you! I'm new here, and do not know my way around, is there some way I can know if and when the problem is solved?
AWESOME and THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I will keep that page open and check it periodicallyYou are welcome. The most reliable way to know if there is a workaround or fix, is to look at the issue I linked to, and to observe its status has changed to closed (in which case it should be fixed) or tagged with the label workaround. The issue then might contain steps to follow, like disabling a setting in Sandboxie or changing a setting. Those are often posted by offhub or by David himself.
I intend to update this thread, when the issue has been resolved. (There could be a delay, since I might lack time to do so.)
C:\Sandbox\<user>\<BOX>\drive\C\Program Files\
After Step 1. I keep getting this message. It means "Your profile "Firefox" cannot be loaded. It may not exist or may not be accessible."
- Go to the Program Files folder inside the sandbox, and if there is a Mozilla Firefox folder, delete it or rename it. After this, run Firefox.
C:\Sandbox\<user>\<BOX>\drive\C\Program Files\
- Alternatively, try running Firefox after completely cleaning the contents of the sandbox. [Please note that cleaning the contents of the sandbox will delete all data inside it] (Right click on the sandbox > Delete Content)
DontCopy=%ProgramFiles%*\Mozilla Firefox\*
- Go to the Program Files folder inside the sandbox using unsandboxed Windows Explorer, and if there is a Mozilla Firefox folder, delete it or rename it. After this, run Firefox.
C:\Sandbox\<user>\<BOX>\drive\C\Program Files\
Thank you. That did the trick.@CuriousD Apply the first point in the message above.
