Sogou Input Lag Outside Sandboxie, But Smooth Inside? Why Does Sandboxie Affect Unsandboxed Programs?

When I use Sandboxie, I encounter an issue with Sogou Input Method:

  • Outside Sandboxie: Typing Chinese with Sogou in unsandboxed programs causes noticeable lag/stuttering.
  • Inside Sandboxie: Typing Chinese with Sogou in sandboxed programs runs smoothly, without any lag.
Why does running Sandboxie seem to affect Chinese input performance specifically for programs running outside the sandbox? It seems counter-intuitive.

  • Has anyone else experienced similar issues (lag with Sogou only in unsandboxed apps when Sandboxie is running)?
  • What steps should I take to troubleshoot this problem?
Sogou Input Method is a very popular Chinese input method, and I would prefer not to switch to a different one if possible
 
The lag happens during candidate word insertion

OS is Win11 22H2 22621.1848
I tryed Sandboxie 5.69 -> 5.70

Stop all sandboxed process, the SogouInput will smoothly.
