Sandboxie-Plus failed to activate, error: hwld required

Hi,

After updating Windows, I found that Sandboxie-Plus lost its activation status. I tried to reactivate it, but received an error message: "hwld required."
Also, the sandbox list in my software has disappeared, and an error pop-up appears saying “Failed to connect to the driver.”

What is the cause of this? How should I solve it?

Hello,

please try with the latest version of Sandboxie-Plus, unless you can't due to the validity of your license.

If that does not resolve it, please reach out to David to check if your problem can be resolved by him, as it might mean that the certificate was node locked, but something changed in such a way that Sandboxie-Plus considers it a new or different machine.
