Sandboxie freezes when switching game account

Hi,

New to Sandboxie.

I'm running a game called Doomsday Last Survivors in Sandboxie under Windows 11. The game runs fine; however if I try to switch player accounts in game, the Sandbox it runs in freezes/becomes unresponsive. I notice that when I click the account login link in game a new process called zfGameBrowser.exe shows up in Sandboxie and is terminated almost immediately. I have deleted both game and Sandboxie several times, gave both admin privileges but it freezes every time I try to log in with a different account.

Can anyone assist?

Hello, there is a report related to this game, about a bug that caused a crash. This has been fixed some versions ago.

Please make sure you use a recent version of Sandboxie-Plus. At the time of writing Sandboxie-Plus 1.17.4 is the latest.

Maybe someone with knowledge about the game can tell you more.

I don't believe that its the same issue as the game starts and runs just fine. Its only when I try to switch the game account (log into another of my accounts in game) that the freeze happens. I'm using the latest version of Sandboxie-Plus (1.17.4). I'll try an earlier version of Sandboxie-Plus when I get home to see if that works.

I tried versions 1.17.0 and 1.15.7. The first had the same issue and the latter worked fine.

Thank you, now that is something the developer can look into, why 1.15.7 works and 1.17.0 fails.

Same here, after much testing 'it seems' (it maybe something else) the newer versions off sandboxie plus (currently 1.17.6) has issues with zfGameBrowser.exe.
The same as above, 1.15.7 works fine and any newer versions off sandboxie plus causes a hang when this process is needed, i have tried adding it to the exlcusion list and many other things to get this working but it just hangs, no matter what i try although i am no coder. So we are unable to change an existing profile, we can add no problem, we just cannot change.
Sandboxie plus has become very common in doomsday the last survivors, ever since the devs changed it so we cant have multiple instances off the game, so gamers that have more than 1 account are struggling to play, especially if they dont know about sandboxie lol, this program is a game saver for many off us. reverting to 1.15.7 is no issue either but would be nice for the updated versions to be able to change profiles.

Is 1.15.7 the latest working version? It would be helpful if you could identify the exact version where the issue started.
