Sandboxie+ and Buster Sandbox Analyzer LogAPI.dll

Hello to all forum users,

under the “Add-Ons Manager” tab there is the LogAPI.dll for Buster Sandbox Analyzer:

1) Does the .Dll file included in Sandboxie+ replace the official one on the BSA site released in 2021 ?

2) What needs to be done to see the analysis logs made with this plugin included in Sandboxie+ which in the official version of Buster Sandbox Analyzer were located in C:\bsa\Reports\ ?

I hope you can help me. Thank you.

I can't answer this.

1) The original .DLL is not replaced, but Sandboxie makes use of the one that will be downloaded.

Who could clarify, I cannot find documentation on this ?

Perhaps the Sandboxie+ programmer can say something.

Following. Also interested in this very same topic!

I was about to make a post about what are the best ways of using Sandboxie Plus to create Installation Log reports, and I believe that when the logging API addon is enabled, along with BSA, then BSA is able to generate those reports. I guess I'll do some testing, but I would appreciate any additional notes and info, if any.

I've tried Sandboxie+ with the latest version of Buster Sandbox Analyzer and everything seems to work fine, just like the last time I used it in 2013.

It would be nice if with the installation of that plugin built into Sandboxie+ you would have Buster Sandbox Analyzer right away without having to do manual configurations, it would serve to give more visibility and enhance both projects ...

Thats a good idea, I can add bsa as an addon, but that will need some start integration ilel some tool menu entry to start the installed bsa

It would be ideal, I do not remember seeing in these years a tool that worked so well localy and generate detailed and readable reports as done by Sandboxie + BSA.

Any.run does something similar, but it is paid and the free version limits the execution of programs to only one minute ...
