Performance degradation – how to disable MajorPrivacy partially or completely?

Hello,

Since installing MajorPrivacy v0.99.x on my Windows 10 system, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in performance in some cases. I suspect this is due to kernel-level monitoring, registry/file hooks, or network inspection, which Iunderstand.

I’d like to know:

1. How can I temporarily or partially disable MajorPrivacy, for diagnostic purposes (e.g. to test system speed without it)?
   
   • Is there a “pause” button or service toggle?
   • Can I stop the Privacy Agent safely and restart it later?
   • Are there CLI options or service names I can use via PowerShell?
2. How can I disable certain modules, like:
   
   • firewall integration (I already use Binisoft Windows Firewall Control),
   • registry or file access monitoring,
   • network filtering?
3. Is there a low-impact mode, or a way to reduce CPU/IO load?
   Even a CLI option to start MajorPrivacy in a passive state would be great.

you can use the privacy->maintenance menu to disconnect, then stop service and driver.
