I am a user who simply wants to play Steam games in multiplayer mode.
If I do not authenticate the Sandboxie Plus program, my game window closes after 5 minutes.
So, I am considering making a donation as a paid member.


However, I would like to know if I can continue using this program permanently after making a one-time payment.
It would be a financial burden for me if I had to make regular payments to keep using the program.
Can I use it indefinitely with just a single payment?


Lastly, I would also like to know if the basic Sandboxie program, rather than Sandboxie Plus, allows multiplayer functionality for Steam games.

This might happen if the sandbox is using features that are not free. Unless this behavior is caused by something else. If you don't need to use any of these features, it could work without a certificate.

Here is an overview over the features and what expires. The one labeled "Sandboxie-Plus Personal" gives you the build you paid for plus one year of updates, while retaining the functionality the certificate unlocked, even after the year is over. I don't know when the price tag on this item has been raised.

I can not comment on whenever Steam and games launched with it work in any version. Personally, I don't know. Someone else might know, what works and what does not and under what circumstance.
