Hello,
I'm using DiskCryptor to fully encrypt my Windows notebook for many, many years. Currently I run DiskCryptor 1.2beta3 using a bootloader with embedded keyfile on USB thumb drive. So I a able to reboot this machine from remote when zthumb drive is inserted and haing notebook protected when thumb drive is absent.
The other SSD drives also are encrypted using key files get mounted by a script run from group policy using keyfiles stored on encrypted system drive.
Just for testing update to WIndows 11 I now tried to update to DiskCryptor 1.3 beta.
1) System drive decrypted
2) DiskCryptor 1.2beta3 ermoved (incl. driver)
3) Installed DiskCryptor 1.3 beta
4) Tried to reencrypt system drive with keyfile
Nice try, option using key file is greyed, not available. Is it a bug or a feature?
In the meatime I reinstalled version 1.2beta3 again, having system drive encrypted with key file.
Kind regards
Andreas
