The file had be hashed.

After Neoloader restarted,Neoloader hashes the file again.

Anything can not be searched by neo kad and mule kad .

Neoloader can not download files by ed2k.

Neoloader downloads files by bittorrent.

".txt file" is one of the files.

If ".txt file" is 0b,neoloader can not download it.

"qbittorrent_3.0.9_setup.exe" and "1.exe " are the same files.

But they hav different file names.

And Neoloader can not display them correctly

There are two different torrent,2 and 3.

"qbittorrent_3.0.9_setup.exe" and "3.exe "are the same files,but they have different file names.

And Neoloader can not display them correctly

If install directory is"C:\Program Files",Neoloader can not run automatically after installing.

And Neoloader can crash

I still can not reproduce the rehashing problem.
Please try to run neoloader from desktop and make sure all its directories are user writable.
under program files the direcotrys are by default read only, what would xplain the rehashing.

about not finishing downlaods,
have you tryed to start and stop the downloads?
respectively restarting neo?
There is probably a bug with part status, I need more details to find it (some states are reset at start stop and some on restart, others are persistent forever).


I fixed the Neo Kad Search Bug it will be released today or so in 0.35a

I can reproduce the rehashing problem in winXP and win7.


When i run neoloader from desktop,the rehashing problem is still exist.

I have not tried to start and stop the downloads and respectively restarting neo.

When Neoloader downloads "ubuntu-13.04-desktop-amd64.iso" by torrent,the problem can be reproduced.

I fixed the Neo Kad Search Bug it will be released today or so in 0.35a

"Neoloader Windows" can search and dowload by Mule Kad.

But "Neoloader Windows (x64)" can not search and dowload by Mule Kad.

The hashing bug should now be fixed i hope.


I tested mule kad 64 and it worked, i guess it needs some more time to connect sometimes, so if you wait loing anough after the first start booth mulekads should work

What do you mean with long enough? Because even after an hour is not working...

it shoud work after max 10 or 15 minues, it it dont, than you propably head a really bad luck and got only dead nodes.
Than restarting the client, or at least mulekad should help,
to make sure you can delete nodes.dat manually

But hash time is shorter.

1.) Torrent download never finishes if it has a 0 byte file
Fix: now 0 sized entrys in a torrent files are ignorred

qBittorrent can download 0 byte file properly
 
hmm...
this rehashing problem is problematic...
does it rehash all files you have or only shared files or only partialy downlaoded files, or only files that have a torretn hash (have ben downlaoded from BT and are now complete)?

also do you have skype? i could send you a test build with more debug output

the 64 bit problem is strange...

well, actually it is not downloading anything ;)
it just creates an empty file with the name from the metadata.
NeoLoader can not handle internally 0 sized fles, why would someone share a empty file anyways?

I cold add a feature that once a multi torrent is being completed it checks the metadata again and creates omitted empty files in the download directroy, but you will not see this files in neoloaders file list any ware. Would this be sufficient?
 
About rehashing it reashes all files of multi torrent, I not tested ed2k because not working downloads for me and not tested sharing a file manually. Even untested NeoKad.

I agree with Xanatos about 0 bytes files^^

and tell me what you see in the CoreLog, to see the Core Log, you need to activate the Developer gui mode in teh settings

I'm looking for log lines containing CheckModification

if it rehashes files you nour system without producing an this lines for each file its a really strange problem...
 
The files add in incoming Manually.

After neoloader restart,i check file's state.



0 byte file is some sharer's proof.

Downloading(Displaying) 0 byte file properly is important to sharer.
 
what does the log file say in the test exe?

also is it nececery to see the 0 files in the neo gui isn't it enough thay would be created in the directory?

can you please look in the file tabs on teh tab "details" just after restartign neo onto a file that is rehashing and tell me if one of the hashes listed there is all AAAAA.... or all 00000.... and if so which one and if this changes after hashing of the file was finished?
 
ok... but neo does not claim that one of the files has changes... so there must be a bug with the hash set data base.

there should be log lines like:
Hash ... is missing for file ... calculating

please post the core log


PS: does it always rehashes all files there are or only some?
