How to use Sandboxie Desktop ?

I'm also wondering that. Running "Sandboxie-Plus Insider [Jan 5 2026]", but I don't really see anything related to this feature. Maybe I missed something.

Thank yo! I hope the same is true for you.

I only use Sandboxie-Plus in the standard version.

Within the options of the Insider version, you should find something like "Run Processes on an own Sandboxed Desktop" and "Sandboxed Desktop" and "Switch to sandboxed desktop when starting a process" and "Switch to sandboxed desktop with double click".
 
I also run the standard version daily, but tried the portable version of Sandboxie Insider to search for this feature. I searched all global options, then created a sandbox and tried to find specific options there, without luck. That's weird !

Maybe you can try the portable version and have a look?
 
I am not sure how this is implemented, maybe this option is only shown, when the insider build is properly installed.

Right now, I am not logged into GitHub and I am not looking forward to test this feature, either.

Maybe, David can give you the answer you are looking for. I hope that useful features from the insider build will make it into the standard version to be available for everyone with a certificate. I used to hope that the Insider version was going to boost development, what does not seem to be the case. Sandboxie gets better with each release, but there are still so many issues that are not addressed, yet.
