Firefox 157 tab roundness

Firefox 157 still works with Sandboxie-Plus 1.18.5 and I like that Mozilla made some changes, like being able to have the compact mode without having to resort to unsupported changes in the configuration. What I dislike is that the re-design makes the tabs so round and the default color theme is also a matter of taste, which is not mine.

I fail to understand why Mozilla changes the design every now and then, without there being a clear advantage, instead of giving the user control, by allowing a selection of designs. It feels like a waste of time, going from rectangle to round to rectangle to round...

If someone knows how to do it easily, I'd like to know, but apparently the solution is to go even deeper.

I felt the need to change the tab roundness to something far less round, which can be done by the userChrome.css

1) Open about:config
2) Change toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true
3) Open the profile folder (about:support shows your profile folder)
4) Create a folder named chrome (all lowercase)
5) Create a file name userChrome.css (just a text file with a different extension)
6) Add the following code with your favorite editor and save the file
CSS:
:root {
  --border-radius-medium: 4px !important;
  --tab-border-radius: 4px !important;
}
7) Restart Firefox

The number in front of the "px" controls the roundness. 0 would be no roundness at all.

I honestly don't know why this isn't an option in the available settings. Even they don't want users to enter numbers, have them select "Round Tabs" or "Rectangular Tabs" or a slider to control the roundness. If that had been the case, I'd be happy, even if the default would just be different from what I am used to.

Edit: Changing the about:config browser.nova.enabled to false works as well, until Mozilla removes the setting.
