Dear all,
in the past decade, I have always encrypted all my drives using VeraCrypt. Due to VC's massive performance problems with NVMe SSDs I would now like to switch to DiskCryptor. However, I still have many file-based containers that I have created using VeraCrypt which I need to access further on.
Therefore, I would like to know whether it is possible to encrypt my drives using DiskCryptor and then install VeraCrypt in the OS on top to access those containers. As far as I know, DiskCryptor installs a file system driver to do its thing, and it is the same with VeraCrypt. I could imagine that running these drivers at the same time is a bad idea. On the other hand, it might work using the portable version of VeraCrypt, for example.
Has anybody already encountered this scenario and can share the experience? Or can somebody give a statement based on theory?
Thank you very much in advance!
