all latest updates as of now for:
----------------------------
windows 10 home
sandboxie plus (the .7 latest)
chrome
firefox
libreoffice

Example:
---------

1. in chrome in default box talk to Google AI. select a bunch of its reply including lines with bullet points. copy it in any way.
2. make a libre office .odt file and try to paste it in any way. or some other program using same concept?

Most of the time, BUT RANDOMLY NOT ALWAYS, the pasted text is not how the AI or reddit or wherever had it, but it is one block of text, all special bold or text size or etc etc is gone.

Horrible! BUT if i try and try i can get lucky idk 1 in 10 or 20 times, sometimes back to back a few time, to paste it the way it out to be.

I finally spent many hours with Google AI with it telling me countless methods to try to fix this, all of which were wrong (AI is ..........).

When i try outside SB i have not seen it do this problem but i dont like to be out of SB.

AI said that the reason it sometimes works is (it gets through sandboxie before SB stops it, or something like that).

So that seems like a leak, if i am using the right word.?! If SB is blocking and yet sometimes fails to!

But this is awful. I struggle with various SB bugs that never get fixed and they are just piling up more and more if copy pasting also has problem that is a common use, and i had thought it was libre but it seems from all the time trying with AI that is it Sandboxie.

and there is the Chrome extensions problem with SB i had reported.
and there is the printing bug i reported long time.
...?

Firefox also does this when sandboxed. result can be slightly different but largely still ruined.

Some work arounds might fix this but could introduce another security issue to do so, so I dont know what should be done.

Thanks.

ps im not a computer techy person.

Does no one else have a copying problem like this? it can take me 20-30 tries to get it to paste properly.

Its awful.

And when it does, why does it manage to?

I used to copy and paste from a sandboxed Firefox into a sandboxed LibreOffice, with different sandboxed back on the Windows 7 machine, without any issues. On Windows 11 I did not copy and paste as often, but I did not notice anything different. It never failed. Then again it was unformatted text.

This is Windows 10. Easy way to find it is type in google ai and copy its replies and paste them.

It is horrible. if lucky it might work but often 10-20 tries. Over and over and over.

and when doing conversation to copy many things it does it each one.

I tried exactly that with Firefox 157 and LibreOffice 26.8.0.3 (X86_64) on Windows 11 with Sandboxie Plus 1.18.5, but I did not encounter anything odd. Even long replies or specifically formatted replies (including tables and elements like 💡) were pasted like the source. Over and over and over again.

Sandboxie has over 730 open issues. This does not appear to have been reported by anyone. Maybe you can re-report this issue on GitHub, since more people with technical knowledge could look into it.

For me CTRL+V worked the same as doing it with the mouse. Maybe you could try using CTRL+SHIFT+V in LibreOffice, as it allows you to select how it is supposed to be treated.
