A popup appeared when sandboxie crashed, asked to disable syncing with windows update, but then after that, it keeps crashing the entire computer. How do I enable them again? I tried looking under global settings, don't see anything with windows update.
Global Settings > App Templates > [App Compatibility] > "In the future, don't check software compatibility" (It's at the bottom and probably checked, due to the dialog, you need to uncheck it.)
I tried looking under that already, I did not see anything that relates to windows update checking. Also the enable button was lit, it does not seem to be the one associated to the popup that I turned off.
The only message I know of that mentions the Windows update with the ability to disable something is:
Sandman did not finish enumerating installed windows updates last time, it probably hangs.
Do you want to disable Windows Updates scanning from the software compatibility detection?
Sorry, misread that earlier. I mentioned on my original post, the message popped up for me to disable, and I did, after that I kept getting windows restart. I want to know where to enable and disable it
The only message I know of that asks you if you want to disable enumerating installed Windows updates. Sandboxie noticed that if failed to enumerate the installed updates and to avoid that from entering a loop, it asks the user if he wants to disable Sandboxie checking what updates have been made to Windows and if it should apply app templates for it.
As said, this can be set in Global Settings > App Templates > [App Compatibility] > "In the future, don't check software compatibility" (It's at the bottom and probably checked, due to the dialog, you need to uncheck it.)
I have been monitoring it, but no more app restarting after I disabled majority software compatibility, only left 2.
Just updated app to 1.17.4, all the App Template related to windows is gone. I cannot open web page from inside the app, it hangs sandbox instance, has to terminate that process. PLEASE HELP!!!
FYI, I have to revert back to v1.17.3, since v1.17.4 stops everything web related, and somehow adapted cookies from different instance. It logged into to the other instance credential.
With v1.17.4, there was no more system rebooting, but it hangs the instance as well as the problem above.
With v1.17.3, it reboots the system every now and then
