Re: Why we need exporting/importing of sandboxes!
Well I'm using it this way, as you only need to copy the sandbox folder.
An export / import feature would do the same, just more automatized, but yea I can add that, combined with 7z to pack and unpack from/to an archive

Re: Taskbar icon
Do you mean in the tray or on the task bar?
If you are askign about the tray than, yes in the last build I included an option to use the classic a.k.a. old icons.
but where do you get red on black error messages?

Re: SBIE2101 - can't launch ANYTHING in ANY sandbox
windows 11 the builds past 22000.x need an additional open IPC path
OpenIpcPath=\Sessions\*\BaseNamedObjects\SM*:WilStaging_*
with it it works fine,
this setting will be included by default in upcoming builds but till then you can add it manually to your sandboxie ini,
Cheers

Re: secure delete
Currently this is not supported, as its not really a usefull feature and more fake than secure. You see, the old sandboxie sure can delete the files left in the end in a sandbox, but it does not do anything of that sort with files created and deleted during the boxes operation. So for example chrome...

Re: Can Sandboxie prevent READ access to a partition or a drive?
The sandboxie as it always was and still is prevents only modifications to the system, you can use CloseFilePath and other directives to manually block access to certain locations. What you want that is a privacy mode that by default denies read access to any not explicitly open location on the syst...
